Yann Malka

Yann was born in Madrid and what made him happiest was listening to music and watching cartoons. Cofounder of Garlic and its first director. He admires Francis Bacon, Charlie Chaplin and Keith Jarrett and has a fetish with the original Mickey Mouse. Tangerines make him like winter and watermelons make him like summer even more. His grandparents were born in Casablanca and he doesn’t eat anything during shooting days (even though he loves cooking… and garlic). He’s got a thing for sweets and maybe that’s why his totemic animal is the bear.
